Buick-Riviera

In a recent series of webchats conduced by Buick the company’s product marketing director Roger McCormack attended the chat. Buick has focused in these last years to launch higher volume cars on the market such as the LaCrosse and the Regal but future plans include coupe, convertible and wagon versions as well.
The Riviera coupe concept was unveiled three years ago and now the company’s marketing director declared that it could be ready to live as a production model. He stated that a coupe model is receiving very strong consideration at the moment and even admitted that a convertible could be really exciting too but hasn’t made any official announcement.
A wagon wasn’t ruled out either and could be among the first new models to join Buick’s line-up in the future. A hatched version of the Insignia is already available in Europe and a couple of months ago a prototype with Regal badges was spotted on the roads.
More details about these plans will be revealed in the future. In the gallery you can see new studio pictures with the Buick Riviera Coupe concept.
