 ROYAL ENFIELD FURY UCE500

The UK importer Watsonian Squire certainly knows a thing or two about design some evocative looking Royal Enfields. Watsonian Squire was in the act, yet again, when it unveiled the 2011 Royal Enfield Fury UCE500, loosely based on the flat track racers of the fabulous 50s and the swinging 60s. This motorcycle, which is a UK only model exclusively designed and sold by Royal Enfield’s UK importer Watsonian Squire has enough nice bits to keep Royal Enfield enthusiasts drooling for days over the neat little parts that the Fury UCE 500 comes endowed with.
To begin with, you get twin silencers, a wide western-style handlebar, a digital speedo, flat-track style glass fibre seat, a chrome headlight and chrome indicators. To power the entire package, you get a unit construction 499cc air cooled, fuel injected thumper that produces about 28 Bhp. While that won’t win you flat track races, what it will do is to make sure that you have a wide grin plastered over your face every time you ride the prodigious torque of over 42 Nm. Now, if an importer can do such a fab job at putting together a gorgeous looking motorcycle, why the hell can the Royal Enfield factory do something better?
That’s the question begging an answer and no, unfortunately, the Royal Enfield Fury UCE500 isn’t coming to the land of the Gandhi any time too soon ROYAL ENFIELD FURY
