Chevrolet Aveo
After previewing the upcoming 2012 Chevrolet Aveo with the Aveo RS Concept, Chevrolet has released the first images and details with the next Aveo. Design-wise, the 2012 model will come with a sportier front bumper, hidden rear door handles, chrome trim and many other small changes.
The cabin will get a motorcycle-like instrument cluster like the one from the Chevrolet Spark, a wrap around dashboard, blue accent lighting and audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The chassis is bit longer than the one from the current model and that means the next Aveo will get more interior space for its passengers.
The new model will be built on a platform which features a tight body frame integral (BFI) structure which will make it handle a bit better and it will also feature electric power steering, electronic stability control and ABS brakes that will also make handling pretty smooth.
The 2012 Chevrolet Aveo will have a variety of engines to choose from such as a 1.2L with 70 HP or 86 HP and a 1.4L with 100 HP, all on petrol or two diesels: a 1.3L with 75 HP and also one with 95 HP. These engines will be connected to either five or six speed manual gearboxes or to a six speed automatic transmission.
Chevrolet will launch the 2012 Aveo next summer on the market and it will be available both as a hatchback and as a sedan.
