Irmscher i42 Chevrolet Camaro

The car tuners from Irmscher took the world by storm with their upgrade package for the Camaro SS which was dubbed as the “i42 Camaro“. The modified car was showcased at this year’s Essen Motor Show and now Irmscher announced they will soon start producing it in a limited run.

The Irmscher i42 Camaro is based on the Camaro SS equipped with the 6.2L V8 but it received a new supercharger and a new custom exhaust system that takes this car’s power output to 509 HP!!! This will make the Camaro i42 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds and to reach a top speed of 275 km/h, a lot more than the standard car.

Since this Camaro is faster than the standard SS, engineers from Irmscher also installed a high performance braking system with 380 mm front discs with 6 piston calipers and 355 mm rear discs with 4 piston calipers for extra stopping power and an adjustable sports suspension for better handling!

In terms of styling, the Irmscher i42 Chevrolet Camaro received a new set of 22″ alloys finished in black and silver, a set of black racing stripes and “Since 68″ logos. The price for this car starts at 49,000 EUR or $64,900.
