Mahindra Mojo 300

Better late than never? Well, not actually. The Mojo 300 has been long touted as Mahindra 2 Wheeler’s flagship sportsbike. However, following its unveiling about two years back, there hasn’t been much development towards the actual launch of the bike. That is, at least folks at Mahindra have been tight-lipped about the whole thing. The rather youngish bike maker recently launched two brand new products including the reworked Stallio. Of course, like everyMahindra 2 Wheelers‘ press conference, the executives received a barrage of question regarding the Mojo 300 and the project’s future.

According to Mahindra officials, the Mojo 300 is still alive and will be launched by the end of 2013. ”We are going through testing protocols right now for the engine. We are hopeful of its launch in the next fiscal,” said Anoop Mathur, President of two-wheeler sector and member of the group executive board, Mahindra & Mahindra.

The Mojo will be a premium offering of the company with the lower end being catered by the new Panthero and Centuro both of which get 110 cc engines. Both bikes come packed with unique features and an economical engine. Mahindra 2 Wheelers also have plans to export the 110 cc bikes to other markets. Things have put into place to facilitate exports which could begin by March 2013.MAHINDRA MOJO 300
