Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
This year’s Detroit Auto Show has been a magic fair for Mercedes-Benz as the German automaker unveiled not one but three new rides so far. After a series of leaks and rumors, full details about the 2014 E63 AMG sedan and estate models have been presented by Mercedes.
The revamped E63 AMG comes with a considerably more aggressive front fascia that features new headlamps, a revised grille and bumper with large air ducts and a central splitter aimed to improve air flow underneath the vehicle. Seen from the back, the vehicle showcases a restyled rear bumper, an updated diffuser and quad trapezoidal tailpipes.
Under the bonnet, the new E 63 AMG packs the same 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine but this time AMG has modified it to produce 557 HP – 410 kW at 5,500 rpm and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. All this power enables the high-performance sedan to sprint from 0 to 100km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds. Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
