Ferrari Xezri
Back in 2011 Azerbaijani automotive designer Samir Sadikhov submitted his Ferrari Xezri concept at the Ferrari World Design Contest and won the second prize. As a student at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), the prized concept came right after South Korea’s Hongik University design.
This year, Samir revised the design and gave it a racing-themed twist. Inspired by the racing-spec F40, the Xezri Competizione Edition packs a fresh assortment of aerodynamic components for a track-only racing version of his mid-engine supercar concept.
The modifications feature a larger front splitter, fender vents, protruding side skirts, a larger rear diffuser, a roof scoop that extends all the way to the rear wing, and a new set of wheels.
There’s no news if this new design will end-up on this year’s competition table, but looking at the renderings, we can’t help but stare.
Of course, some may say the vehicle resembles the McLaren P1 or Citroen’s GT, but in the end, the ride looks beautiful. What do you guys think?
