Mercedes-Benz C63

Mercedes-Benz has been spending a lot of time in the spotlights lately. Recently, the German tuner TIKT has unveiled, at the 2012 Essen Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe-based Black Baron.

As a reminder, the standard Black Series hides a 6.3-liter V8 engine under the bonnet, that produces 517 HP – 380 kW and 620 Nm of torque. What the engineers at TIKT did, was to install new high-performance racing headers, bigger throttle valves and a high-performance exhaust system with a sports catalyzer which basically added an extra 89 HP to the total output. There are no official performance figures released, but we figure that the massive 606 HP – 446 kW and 660 Nm power house is able to run the 100 Km/h (62mph) sprint in under 4 seconds.

For a whopping 175,000 EUR, the MB c63 AMG Black Series Black Baron comes with a brand new set of 10Jx20 forged wheels wrapped in Hankook 285/25 ZR20 tires at the front and 11Jx20 alloys with 325/25 ZR20 rubbers at the back. There’s also an adjustable Clubsport suspension from Bilstein and a beautiful black and red finish to complete the full awesome picture.
